Box of Mystery Character Design Submission
Here is my submission for the Mystery Box Challenge, character design segment. These are refined versions of what I submitted, unfortunately I couldn't reach the edit option before it was disabled hahaha.
Anywho, the idea is that this group of characters are on the hunt for the aforementioned Box, sent by their King to search for it. Syrra is not entirely convinced the reason for the hunt is altruistic, she cannot read the King's intent and that raises alarms in her mind. Her team takes this quest because it is the only way to find the truth behind everything, only then can Syrra and her team know what to do with the Box once they reach it. This Journey will push the team beyond their limits with absurd difficulties, one wonders if this Box should even be retrieved.
This challenge was really fun! I always off handedly do the other ones before this challenge, but I think the open ended nature of it really appealed to me. Coming up with a story and characters on my own is always a good time, I hope everyone else felt the same way.
The Squad, ready for action!
Syrra, The Leader: Psionic powers that she typically manifest into psychic blades/shields. She is also her kingdom's master interrogator, nothing gets past her.
Atmos, Brave Shock Trooper: Branded a traitor of his race, fiercely loyal to his team. He would fight to the death for them without a single thought. Syrra was one of the only people who gave him a chance to prove himself.
Corrine, Mischievous Demolitionist: She is Syrra's oldest friend, and the one who always gets everyone in trouble. She's the person who will put a cherry bomb in the bar toilet haha.
Alma, The Serious Wizard: The orb she carries is the equivalent of a wizard's spellbook. Vast in knowledge and power with or without the orb.
K, The Wild One: She's a berserker martial artist that has mastered chi control through rage, the tattoos on her body enhances her strength and defense further.
Boogie, Joyful Musician: The group's Bard, utilizing his harp-lute to distract and menace their foes; or boosting morale and enhancing spells with his songs.
